Five full days will cover the most famous sites in St. Petersburg (arrival and departure days excluded). However, this implies a rather intensive program with a private guide and transportation. If you plan to visit these sites independently your own I would suggest 10 days.
The best period for most programs is from the middle of May to the middle of September as you can see from the table below. But it is still possible to visit out of season for which I offer special 'Winter' options for 2 days and 5 days.
