How to rent an apartment

Reservation & payment
Check availability - wire the 1st night deposit - get into your place &
pay the balance.

I expect you to provide some basic information about you i.e. how many
persons / approx what age / from what country / how many sleeps you need.
(Not every landlord is happy to rent to a group of 6 teenagers, others do
not mind it etc.)
N.B.: Knowing your situation I can offer you a variant
from the new apartments which are not listed on the site yet.

After availability confirmation you have 2 days to book the place. If I
get no answer from you in 2 days time, I will consider your request as
cancelled.

For booking you need to transfer a deposit in the amount of the 1st night
stay.

The balance is to be paid after your arrival when you check into your
place, make sure that everything satisfies you and get the key. The
balance is to be paid in cash - in Euro, USD or rubles. If you do not
want to bring much cash with you, it is not a problem: ATMs are wide
spread in St. Petersburg so you can use the closest one to your place.

In case of any minor occurrence (flood, earthquake or other act of God)
the booking can be exchanged for a similar or better one. In such case,
besides apologies, you will get some discount or free of charge
additional service. Within 4 years I have had only one such case but
life is life.

The guest is responsible for any damage done to any appliances,
furniture, upholstery, kitchen utensils, linen, towels etc. In case
something is damaged you will be asked for a reasonable compensation
(never have had such situation in practice).

Guests are expected to maintain "good neighbour" code of conduct:
avoiding loud misic, shouting, making noise and other behavior which
may disturb the building's residents.

Preferably on the arrival date or the next day we need to agree when you
will depart so I can get the keys back.

Booking cancellation policy
In case your plans change and you do not want the reserved apartment
anymore, unfortunately your deposit will not be returned. I am sorry but the
apartment owners consider it as a small compensation for the fact they had
refused other clients in order to keep the place for you.

Arrivals / Departures
Normally the apartment is available from noon. You need to leave it before 11:30
the day of your departure. If you will arrive earlier or wish to depart later
contact me with the details. If others won't be occupying the apartment the day of
your departure, usually the owners are generous and will let you stay for some
extra hours at no additional payment. It is possible that the owner can find a
client at the last minute: then you will have to leave at noon anyway.

How to reach the booked apartment
The easiest and stress-free way is to order the
pick up service.
At only 24 Euro I will safely drive you to your place. If however there is a
friend who will meet you we can arrange it otherwise: after the receipt of the
deposit I will inform you of the full address and we will fix the time since I
will wait for you in your place. I would not recommend you neither to take a
taxi from the airport (the price will be unavoidably inflated) nor try to
use public transport for this trip (complicated and overcrowded).

If anything goes wrong (for example some problem with the iron) what should you do?
When you check in I will leave you a kind of business card with your address in
English & Russian and my mobile number for any emergency case. You can call
me 24 hours - I am ready to fix any problem if necessary.

Why the prices indicated on the site are not final?
Landlords are very sensitive to the market: when they manage to rent their place
successfully they may insist on a high price even out of season or on the
contrary to give a discount in the highest season if their place stands empty.
The factors which influence the final price are numerous and sometimes
unpredictable. That is why I display on this site the average prices and kindly
ask you to contact me for the final one - if it's not the same it is usually very
close to the one mentioned on the site.

Are there any extra charges besides the final price confirmed by Tatiana's e-mail?
No, there are no extra charges. You can be sure that the price confirmed by me
is final and subject to no alterations.

Can I get the telephone number of the booked apartment in advance?
Certainly as soon as I get the deposit I will inform you your telephone number.
