Who is an amateur guide
Your amateur guide will be a student with at least an intermediate level of
English language and friendly personality - most probably a girl. It might be
as well an older person with the sufficient knowledge of English.
Amateur guide will help you with:

planning your day: basing on your wishes and her knowledge what time
does it take to reach different places you will work out the optimal
route;

getting acquainted with the local transport: you will both learn how
it works and reach even the far located places (like Petrodvorets)
without stress and risk to get lost;

What is the main difference between the amateur guide and the professional one?
Besides education in the history of St. Petersburg / art professional guide is
widely experienced person in everything connected with tourism. For example if

offer you several options how to spend time differently from what was planned.

How much it costs
It costs €35 per day (8 hours). The price is the same for
up to the 4 persons group. For the bigger groups, please,
contact me.

How to book amateur guide service (step by step)

You order this service at least 5 days in advance and I confirm that
there is someone available.

If you book an
apartment
via me you can pay this service together with the balance after your
arrival. If it is the only service you order, you need to make a
prepayment.

You let me know when and where you want to meet your guide. Usually she
comes to pick you up to your hotel/apartment. It is up to you what time
to start. The guide will stay with you for 8 hours.

It is up to you where to finish your day. The guide can leave you at some
good restaurant close to your place / bring you back to your place or to
some metro station. You can agree it from the beginning or by the end of
the day.

If you order an amateur guide for more than 1 day you can be sure that it
will be always the same person.
