The Summer garden is a world of giant trees that were planted hundred of years ago,
a world of marble sculptures brought from Italy. This place is famous for one of
the first stone buildings in St. Petersburg - the Summer palace of Peter the Great,
which was built in 1712. by D. Trezzini.
The palace was made into a museum and contains material of an historical, memorial
and artistic nature. Here you can also find Peter's study room, his bedroom, the
workshop, dining room, kitchen and receptions rooms.
