Cruiser Aurora
|
The ship is famous for taking part during events leading up to the Revolution in
February 1917. With its help Bolsheviks prevented the Lieutenant Shmidt's bridge
being raised, thus keeping open their route into the city. In the morning of 25
October "Aurora" fired the shot which signalled the storming of the Winter palace.
